The FLL Hong Kong Championship brought together 300 teams to explore marine sustainability through robotics and STEAM education. Held at AsiaWorld-Expo, the event highlighted creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving as participants designed robots for underwater tasks. Through CSR initiatives like coding workshops for Tung Chung families, AWE made STEAM education accessible to all, fostering awareness of ocean conservation while inspiring future innovators and promoting sustainable marine ecosystems.
 
 

AWE shines globally with a series of prestigious accolades. It was named “Best Convention Centre (North Asia)” at the M&C Asia Stella Awards for the fifth time and became Hong Kong’s first venue to win the “Fan & Guest Experience Award” at TheStadiumBusiness Awards. AWE also earned the “Best Event Team Award” at the Marketing Events Awards, recognizing its teamwork, brand visibility, and customer engagement. These achievements reaffirm AWE’s status as a world-class hub for global events and exceptional visitor experiences.
 
 

The groundbreaking ceremony for AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE) Phase 2 Development took place on 11 August, with AAHK CEO Vivian Cheung and senior management from AAHK, AWE and contractor Hip Hing Construction Company Limited in attendance, as well as senior government officials including Permanent Secretary for Transport and Logistics Kevin Choi.
 
 

Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) Arts and Culture Festival 2025 officially kicked off on 25 July. Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) in partnership with local arts organisations present a series of art exhibitions at the terminal until 8 November. In collaboration with Attacca Projects, Hong Chi Association, Hong Kong Arts Centre, Hong Kong Reminiscence & Maison V, Ink and the City, M+ and MobArt Gallery, the Festival showcases a diverse range of art forms.
