AWE Warmly Welcomes the World

In recent months, AWE has hosted many engaging events that showcased a diverse range of products, attracting exhibitors and visitors from around the globe. These highly successful events included The Art Hong Kong Expo, the Greater Bay Area Industrial Expo, and the 3rd Global Freight Forwarders Expo. This year has also seen the rise in popularity of corporate incentive events for employees and clients. HK$1.4 billion Incentive Scheme for Recurrent Exhibitions

To attract major events back to Hong Kong, the Government has announced the launch of a HK$1.4 billion (US$178 million) “Incentive Scheme for Recurrent Exhibitions” for events held between 1 July 2023 and 30 June 2026. Under the scheme, qualified organisers of recurrent exhibitions held at AWE can receive incentives equivalent to up to 100% of rental fees.
 

HKIA to Host IATA World Cargo Symposium in 2024

Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) will be the host airport for the World Cargo Symposium (WCS) in 2024, as announced by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) on 27 April 2023. The 2024 edition of the WCS is scheduled for 12 to 14 March at AsiaWorld-Expo and is expected to attract over 1,000 attendees from around the world.
