Complex announced its groundbreaking move to bring its iconic cultural World Fair ComplexCon to Hong Kong. This inaugural ComplexCon Asia Edition, known as ComplexCon Hong Kong, will take place at AsiaWorld-Expo from 22 - 24 March 2024. Originated in Los Angeles, California since 2016, ComplexCon is an expertly curated festival of the future, bringing together the world's most influential brands and artists for an immersive and unforgettable days of style, sneakers, art, food, music, inspiration, and more.

Taking place from 14 to 17 December at AWE, this four-day event, organised by International Motor Show (HK) Management Limited (IMSML) in collaboration with the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) and the Chinese Culture Institute (CCI), will immerse you in Hong Kong’s unique car culture. Experience the latest car models, products, and services, along with inspirational exhibits like the Chinese EV Pavilion, Hong Kong Auto Fest, Supercar Zone, and the thrilling IMX CARnival. IMXpo2023 is the ultimate automotive extravaganza, making it a must-attend event for car enthusiasts, industry professionals, and families alike!

The 1st GBA Hong Kong School Education Expo will take place at AWE from 15 to 17 December, representing an exciting new development for parents throughout the Greater Bay Area. This inaugural event will showcase over 100 prestigious schools, offering parents the opportunity to engage directly with educators, gain insights into admission procedures, and experience Hong Kong's vibrant multicultural study environment. Attendees can also enjoy an English Book Fair to enrich children's language skills, and the Formula Edge Asia inter-school A.I. racing competition, which is sure to spark kids’ interest in cutting-edge technology and artificial intelligence.

Making its debut at AsiaWorld-Expo this Christmas, Chill 11 features a unique “retailtainment” experience in an unparalleled fusion of cultural creativity, thrilling entertainment, and irresistible shopping. A diverse range of offerings including food and beverages, arts and crafts, houseware, fashion and accessories, beauty and wellbeing, and an array of Greater Bay Area life experiences will all be presented in themed zones, complemented with some 70 workshops. Event highlights include an 8-metre-tall crystal kaleidoscope-inspired Christmas tree and a 32-metre-long bouncy castle! This vibrant hub for cultural and festive activities will also feature performances and celebrities such as Cantopop girl group, After Class. To further enhance the visitor experience, AWE is once again partnering with MTR Corporation to introduce the Airport Express HK$47 Limited Offer. After the pandemic forced two cancellations in 2020 and 2021, Cosmoprof and Cosmopack Asia finally made an eagerly anticipated return to their hometown of Hong Kong in November. The event was held under the well-established “One Fair, Two Venues” product categorisation arrangement, with Cosmopack Asia taking place at AWE.
 
In total, the 2023 Hong Kong edition of Cosmoprof and Cosmopack Asia welcomed over 60,000 attendees. The exhibition boasted 2,000 exhibitors from 43 countries and regions, covering a vast exhibition area of more than 100,000 square metres. The event also featured more than 20 group and country pavilions, including Australia, France, Germany, Israel, Japan, Korea, Poland, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, and the USA.

The 18th Eco Expo Asia, co-organised by the HKTDC and Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd., concluded its physical event at AWE on a high note. As a renowned global trade platform for the environmental protection industry, Eco Expo Asia was an inspirational showcase of the latest green products, equipment, and cutting-edge technology, as well as face-to-face networking opportunities that generated a wealth of new business potential. To encourage members of the public, especially the younger generation, to embrace green living, the final day of the Expo was designated as a Public Day featuring a variety of environmental talks, workshops and a Green Mart, all available free of charge. The four-day event attracted substantial attention, including over 300 exhibitors and more than 12,000 buyers representing numerous countries and regions worldwide.

Across three weeks in October, the highly anticipated Global Sources Hong Kong showcased thriving sectors like sports, e-sports, smart energy, and security. The three shows’ full range comprised a dazzling variety of the latest products, from innovative new solutions for environmental protection and green sustainability, to AIOT and the hottest new trends. With over 5,000 top-tier Asian suppliers, 9,000 exhibition booths, and more than 300,000 products and peripheral goods to explore, the event was a truly vibrant experience! As a premier trade platform with global appeal, the exhibition attracted over 100,000 professional buyers from around the world.
