The Longines Hong Kong International Horse Show 2025
The highly anticipated Longines Hong Kong International Horse Show will make its debut at AsiaWorld-Expo from 14–16 February 2025! Recognized as an “M” Mark event by the Major Sports Events Committee, this annual world-class equestrian event will bring audiences showjumping, dressage, spectacular equestrian displays, and a variety of lifestyle and family entertainment experiences.
This top-tier equestrian event will offer attendees a series of exceptional experiences, including thrilling equestrian competitions featuring 30 international 5-star rider-horse combinations, captivating performances, exhilarating entertainment activities, and exquisite culinary offerings.

1. Stellar showjumping and incredible dressage lineup
Five arena performances will span the three-day event in February 2025. Each performance will feature a 5-star international show jumping class, two equestrian displays, and two additional show jumping classes or dressage displays. Visitors will have the chance to witness thirty international 5-Star show jumpers compete for prize money totalling approximately HK$6.5 million in the show jumping classes. Amongst the world-class show jumpers to watch are Max Kuhner (AUT), Scott Brash (GBR), Jack and John Whitaker (GBR). The Hong Kong Jockey Club Equestrian team members Patrick Lam, Jacqueline Lai and Clarissa Lyra, representing Hong Kong, China, will also be participating in the event.
The Longines Grand Prix on Sunday evening will serve as the show’s pinnacle. Besides traditional showjumping competitions, 10 of the world’s best power jumpers will compete in the Puissance high jump challenge, including Gemma Stevens, who recently won the 6 Bar competition at the London International Horse Show.
2. The Thrills of the Shetland Pony Grand National
8 Shetland ponies, along with their jockeys aged 8–14, will race around a track with jumping obstacles that mimic those of the famous Aintree Grand National – one of the World’s most famous jump races. This display from the Shetland ponies, brought over from their native United Kingdom, is a great introduction to children and budding equestrian enthusiasts.
3. An incredible display of horsemanship from world-renowned equestrian artist, Santi Serra
Santi Serra's artistic display will be a demonstration of the incredible strength and harmony between horse and human. A masterclass in horsemanship, Santi will work with his four Arabian horses at liberty, using neither saddle nor bridle.
4. Immerse yourself in the equestrian world at the HKJC Live Zone
This area is not to be missed for those looking to get up-close to their favourite riders and learn more about the equestrian world. The HKJC Live Zone programming will provide visitors with an opportunity to learn more about equestrian sport and the work that goes on behind it. It will present in-depth talks with top riders including Jacqueline Siu, Annie Ho, and Samantha Chan and will peek into the processes of those working behind-the-scenes with the horses such as the grooms and farriers.
5. Family fun at the LeMieux Kid’s Zone
The Kid’s Zone in the Lifestyle Village will provide an opportunity for budding equestrian enthusiasts to test their skills at hobby horse riding - a competition that simulates real-life horse riding through a specially designed course, which will be presented by well-known equestrian clothing brand, LeMieux.
6. Indulge in exclusive culinary delights at the Chef’s Theatre
Visitors can take a seat, relax and enjoy the epicurean delights and culinary expertise of renowned local chefs through 15 cooking shows. The chefs will host an array of interactive demonstrations for visitors where they will share gastronomic secrets and inspire those participating. The chefs will also present their signature and favourite local dishes to the audiences.
7. A Fashion Stage for Town and Country
Fashion Runway will showcase exclusive presentations from local designers and brands, as well as interactive styling tutorials by popular stylists. Renowned Hong Kong designers, Barney Cheng, Harrison Wong and Henry Lau will be among those showcasing their iconic designs at the runway.
The Show has also partnered with Hong Kong Kids Fashion Week (HKKFW), who will present a fashion show at the Lifestyle Villages’ Fashion Runway on 15 February from 11am to 12 noon, featuring children’s fashion and accessories. HKKFW will also host the 3rd edition of their Model World Cup - New Talent Competition on 16 February, from 10am to 12pm
8. Shop till you drop
The Lifestyle Village will feature over 50 brands spanning equestrian, fashion, beauty, culinary, and more. The “Idea Box” area will showcase 12 curated independent brands offering unique products packaged within stylish collectable wooden boxes, available for purchase as mystery packages.
