The autumn months once again promise to be a busy time in Hong Kong, with massive trade fairs attracting tens of thousands of visitors to AsiaWorld-Expo.

From mid-to-end October, the popular China Sourcing Fairs will draw international buyers to its wide range of Chinese and regional suppliers.

Such has been the growth of the fairs, the events are now being over an almost three-week period, starting with electronics & components (12-15 October), followed by gifts & home products, baby & children's products (20-23 October) and, finally, fashion accessories and underwear & swimwear (30 October-2 November).

The fairs bring together the widest selection of regional suppliers and international buyers and have firmly established themselves as must-attend sourcing fairs.

Christmas party menu offered by AsiaWorld-Expo's award-winning F&B team AsiaWorld-Expo recently launched its ‘Christmas Party Package' for companies interested in hosting their Christmas festivities at its unique venue, which offers one of the most stunning sea-front locations in Hong Kong. The Package offers either a delicious buffet or table-service menu created by AsiaWorld-Expo's award-winning chefs. The announcement came as AsiaWorld-Expo's F&B team took home the top prize in a culinary competition that attracted interest from over 60 teams across Hong Kong. 32 short-listed, two-chef teams, were invited to prepare a delicious main and dessert course using strawberries as a key ingredient, at the popular California Strawberry Cooking Contest 2008. Spectacular show puts AsiaWorld-Arena in the Guinness Book of Records

A seven-day concert tour by local singing sensation, Aaron Kwok, not only marked a new level of popularity for the 13,500-seater AsiaWorld-Arena, it also put the venue in the Guinness Book of Records. The impressive structure not only won the attention of the Guinness World Records, and the hearts of Aaron Kwok fans, it also showed-off the technical expertise and flexibility of the Arena for the full range of entertainment productions.

Demonstrating the expertise and flexibility of AsiaWorld-Arena, the impressive revolving stage measured 10m x 9.44m has been recognised by the Guinness World Records.
