AsiaWorld-Expo demonstrated its versatility in October, playing host to three concurrently-run new fairs, all with different space requirements. The fairs – covering environmental products and services, furniture and building materials and construction equipment – were organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council in partnership with other established names in the exhibition industry, Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, CIEC Exhibition Company (HK) Ltd and Kenfair International. |

Availability of additional exhibition space at AsiaWorld-Expo had allowed the development of the three new fairs, the exhibition organisers said. Industry associations and buyers also praised the fairs, saying they offered a premier business development forum in Asia for the high-potential sectors.
More than 500 exhibitors and over 17,000 key buyers from around the world participated in the events, demonstrating a strong start for the new fairs and prompting the organisers to schedule repeat events in
the years to come.
The success of the new fairs further demonstrates AsiaWorld-Expo's ability to host a broad range of product and service trade fairs.
