First Full Scale Exhibition Covering All 10 Halls since
the Pandemic, Worldwide Businesses Reunite at
AsiaWorld Expo
The massive Global Sources Hong Kong Show recently returned to AsiaWorld-Expo with tremendous success. Held from 11th -14th and 18th -21st April 2023, this was the venue’s first full-scale trade show covering all ten halls since the pandemic—and an inspirational reminder of the role that physical events play in creating new opportunities and driving business growth. The Expo’s exhibition area spanned 70,000 square metres, equivalent to ten international standard football fields, with over 8,000 booths attracting more than 100,000 buyers from 150 countries and regions worldwide.

The event featured a vast array of products, including consumer and mobile electronics, fashion, gifts and premiums, home products, pet products, and more. By attending, visitors were able to get first-hand information of the latest trends from the world’s leading suppliers and manufacturers, as well as network with their industry peers. Feedback from exhibitors confirms that the event was a resounding success, with strong interest and orders from high quality buyers around the world. Here are just a few of the testimonials from exhibitors and buyers:

"AsiaWorld-Expo’s superior geographical advantage is very helpful for us to acquire new customers." – Wei Cheng Zhang, Exhibitor, RK Royal Kludge from Mainland China.

To welcome the large-scale return of exhibitions and prepare for a major influx of international visitors, AsiaWorld-Expo has recently undergone a venue-wide renovation. During the exhibition period, AsiaWorld-Expo also worked with Hong Kong International Airport to offer an in-venue, off-airport check-in service for business travellers, allowing them to maximise their time at the event by checking in their luggage directly at the venue. As part of AsiaWorld-Expo’s commitment to providing visitors with a unique EXPOtainment experience in every detail, it also tailor-made a variety of complimentary authentic local snacks, giving visitors the opportunity to experience Hong Kong’s unique flavours.

Building on the huge success of the Global Sources Exhibitions, AsiaWorld-Expo will continue to leverage its professional event management expertise to bring even more international trade exhibitions to Hong Kong. Upcoming large-scale events at AsiaWorld-Expo include the 13th JCtrans Global Freight Forwarders Expo 2023, ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA, and Revive Tech Asia 2023. Together with our visitors from around the globe, we look forward to a robust revival of Hong Kong's MICE industry!
