|
With all checkpoints between Hong Kong and Mainland China finally reopened on 6 February, and following the return of quarantine-free travel without any requirement for Covid-19 testing, AWE is warmly welcoming the world back to its award-winning facilities. The cancellation of all social distancing measures and inbound travel restrictions means that face-to-face international events are expected to make a spectacular rebound in the year ahead, bringing business travellers back together again and supercharging opportunities for event organisers around the world.
To kickstart the 2023 exhibition calendar, AWE is delighted to welcome the return of two major events in the months ahead, including the Global Sources Series in April, which will be a full-house event covering all 10 halls.
Global Sources Hong Kong Show
The Global Sources flagship trade shows will take place from 11-14 and 18-21 April 2023 at AWE. Scaled to meet the rebound in demand from sourcing professionals worldwide, this influential international B2B sourcing event will focus on in-demand products in popular categories such as carbon neutrality, outdoors and travel, and the pet economy. In total, the event will host more than 8,000 booths showcasing over 200,000 creative products, innovative technologies, and applications of the latest design concepts online
and offline.
Asia Fruit Logistica
Another event heading back to AWE is Asia’s premier fresh fruit and vegetable trade show, Asia Fruit Logistica, which will be held on 6-8 September 2023. This landmark event will include the Asiafruit Congress, Asia’s preeminent and longest-running fresh produce business conference, where expert speakers will be sharing high-level insights on the key topics and latest trends in the industry.
Preparations are well under way for yet more exciting events at AWE. Following the completion of a comprehensive HK$600-million facility upgrade, we’re looking forward to welcoming organisers, exhibitors and visitors to a venue that’s better than ever before! |

Katch Presents the Ultimate Song Chart Awards Presentation 2022
01 January 2023
As an acclaimed and highly newsworthy local award ceremony, the Ultimate Song Chart Awards Presentation started 2023 with a bang, attracting more than 10,000 visitors to AWE on New Year’s Day.
Drawing on AWE’s uniquely flexible configuration, and the professionalism of its award-winning banquet team, the event organiser held a Gala Dinner for the event partners and awardees right after the ceremony—and the massive banquet hall was located only a few steps away from the backstage area! Everyone in attendance was so impressed by this expert planning and delivery—not to mention the excellent food and service—many guests talked about their amazing experience in airtime programmes and on social media the next day.
AWE Adds Excitement with a Dedicated Cheering Zone
Taking advantage of AWE’s large versatile space, fans spontaneously initiated warm-up and cheering activities. To help fans create a truly immersive experience, AWE offered a dedicated zone for supporter rallies and the casting of votes for the coveted “Song of the Year” award. This area also featured a festival-like mini-market full of creative décor and fan giveaways, all of which helped to take the excitement to even greater heights before the show started. |
